End of Service Announcement of IBM POWER8 Server Family

IBM has announced that select IBM POWER8 family machine types, models and features will be exempt from maintenance services!

Details, a list of affected products/validity dates and the recommended replacement products can be found in the announcement letter.

After the Effective Date, IBM will no longer provide full hardware maintenance service for the listed machine types. If available, Customers will continue to receive limited hardware maintenance service as described in the « Withdrawal » section of your terms with IBM.
