The new IBM Power S1012 (9028-21B)

It is the smallest power system ever and is available as a rack mount (26″) and deskside model. This makes entry into the world of power even more cost-effective and attractive.

Smaller IBM i/AIX customers, but also new customers, especially in the AI environment, have a great model to start with.

Technology:

  • 1x 4 Core, 1x 8 Core or 1x 1 Core are available
  • 4x NVMe Slots and up to 6.4 TB available
  • 4x PCI Gen5 Slots
  • 4x DDR4 Storage with up to 265GB
  • 2x Redundant power supply units

As with all other Power Machines, the following operating systems are supported:

  • AIX from Version 7.3 7300-001
  • IBM i from Version V7R4 TR10
  • RHEL 9.2

For IBM i, this machine is available in P05 or P10, depending on the processor. The machine is supplied with a rack enclosure and can therefore be installed in a 19″ rack.
