ROTKREUZ, February 16, 2026 – TD SYNNEX is strengthening its commitment to the expansion of artificial intelligence in Switzerland and opening a new IBM watsonx Center of Excellence (CoE) in Rotkreuz. The state-of-the-art innovation center expands the existing AI portfolio and offers partners and end customers a central point of contact to experience IBM watsonx technologies live, test them, and develop them further together.

The new TD SYNNEX IBM watsonx Center of Excellence serves as a hands-on innovation studio where companies can directly experience how an AI development platform (watsonx.ai), efficient data management (watsonx.data), a compliance and AI monitoring environment (watsonx.governance), and the orchestration of existing and new AI agents (watsonx.orchestrate) accelerate specific use cases and create business value. Sales partners and their customers gain access to live demonstrations of state-of-the-art IBM AI solutions, hands-on workshops, training, and technical enablement sessions.

Patrick Pister, Business Unit Manager IBM & Red Hat at TD SYNNEX Switzerland, comments: “We are delighted to announce the opening of our IBM watsonx CoE, which will not only give our existing IBM partners access to IBM’s AI solutions. IBM’s AI portfolio is ideal for so many industries and use cases that we also want to use it to attract new partners for IBM. A major advantage is that our partners can test the entire range of IBM watsonx solutions in a real-world environment—free of charge.”

The new Center of Excellence in Rotkreuz is part of an international IBM partner network with locations in Munich, Milan, Madrid, London, and Clearwater (Florida). Its global orientation not only enables technology transfer, but also a uniform methodology for AI workshops and PoC developments.

With the new CoE, TD SYNNEX and IBM are creating sustainable added value for Swiss companies: faster AI adoption, direct access to IBM expertise, strengthening of the partner ecosystem, and greater innovative strength through co-creation.

“The new studio complements our strategic TD SYNNEX partner program, Destination AI, which supports partners in three stages of development: AI Aware, AI Ready, and AI Expert,” adds Pister. “The initiative helps partners build, deepen, and successfully monetize AI skills in a structured way. Across Europe, more than 250 AI champions and over 80 certified technical presales experts are available for workshops and enablement.”
